About Fightclub

Fight club is a growing club within NC. We have been around since April of 2005. All of the original members in Fight Club were close friends several years before we actually decided to label ourselves. We hung out and traveled around NC and other states to different events and meets. We would also meet up occasionally and have a big cook out and invite others to come out and have a good time with us.

Our main focus is the highly modified machines that we drive. We like to hang out, cruise the streets, go to the drag strip and get involved in some road racing. Fight Club plans a meet once a month at different places so everyone can stay in touch and see what one another has going on. The group really acts more like a group of friends that like to get out and enjoy life to the fullest. We feel we are unique in our on way, and stand out amongst the rest. Everyone in the club are cool level headed people that are down to earth and like to talk about cars.

The main aspect that we look for would be someone that is really out to build a serious ride. Something that will perform at a high level. We look for serious tuners because we are serious tuners. Our focus is not on appearance, because a lot of the cars in the club are daily driven. As far as our standards, throughout the years we have raised the bar within the club. Our rides are a continuing project. They are a reflection of ourselves. Look to see some wild rides in the near future and for us its just a hobby and way of life. Before the “scene” became known and before the “movie” we were already looking for something to satisfy our addiction to modify for speed and handling. A lot of our members started out as serious enthusiasts in the mid to late 90’s.

Were trying to building a great foundation for the club with the meets that we have and shows that we have in the planning. Fight club has gotten to become more known within NC since the first years. One can only hope to become a well known club in and outside of NC.

Being a club and taking on new members can bring on turmoil against members if you are careless in selection, and try to focus on quantity. We look for quality and passion from potential members, but we try to get to know someone pretty well before we really consider their membership. One would think that may take some time but we really can figure out if we would like to consider someone within a few times of meeting them and hanging out some. Were not a picky club but look for some serious rides. Our standards keep getting higher as we go, but are within reach.

There is a quote that we use on our shirts “its in my blood”. This is a expression of how we feel about this club and the passion we have for the art of performance. It also describes the dedication and strive we have to build these serious rides. So maybe its in you also.
